Born and raised in the northern San Francisco bay area. I'm a husband to a wonderful wife, and father of three sons and two daughters.

I started identifying my affinity for writing around the sixth grade when I took a very small writing assignment way too far, for a science class nonetheless. I lost track of the goal of the paper and became enveloped in the creative process. Luckily my science teacher could appreciate it. He gave me an A and pushed me to keep writing.

I began to study writing and journalism but "life happened" and I ended up moving into the technology industry at the turn of the millenia.
