Kevin Edwards first love has always been the historical events and places that have shaped America. His first book, Lords of the Levee, uses the Chicago Levee as a historical setting to tell the truth-life struggle of an Irish immigrant family. His second book, Daisy Bradford #3, follows the family to East Texas, site of the world’s largest oil discover in 1930. Kevin is currently working on a third book in the family saga about the challenges facing Lauryn Sweeney during the 1950s when she inherits her father’s oil empire.

Kevin lives with his wife north of Atlanta, Georgia. They share their house with a Labrador retriever, Sadie, who was abandoned when their daughter moved to Belgium.
