The story was great, the Audible reading however is to be avoided if you don’t want to be endlessly irritated by mispronunciation and poor intonation in almost every sentence. It’s as if it is AI, or the reader has never read a book in English before ...more

This got a little slow in the middle but otherwise this is a satisfying murder mystery that is slightly seasonal but not hard to read at any time. I loved Lee, the narrator, and wish there were more of these to come. Recommended.

I really enjoyed this. A short book, but full of atmosphere. Christmas pervades the pages without sentimentality and it’s jolly well plotted.
