Dr Meena T. Pillai did her M.A. in English Language and Literature from St. Berchmans' College, Mahatma Gandhi University with First Class and First Rank in 1990 and her doctoral thesis was on "The Gothic Tradition in Post-War American Fiction" from the University of Kerala in 1998 with Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship at the Ohio State University, Columbus, U.S.A. She pursued her post-doctoral research at Department of Media Studies, University of Sussex, U.K with Commonwealth Fellowship and at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada with Sasthri Fellowship. Currently she is Associate Professor at the Institute of English, University of Kerala and also the Director, Centre for Cultural Studies at UniversityDr Meena T.
