Born in Damascus, Syria. Sufian shared his father's love for books. Going through his father’s library of historical and classical novels, Sufian’s imagination has always been affected by thoughts of far-off times and places, making the bedtime stories he told his siblings as a child almost as wild as the fibs he told to get out of trouble.
Sufian found personal inspiration from the words of master writers such as Robert Jordan, Terry Pratchett, George R.R. Martin and Gibran Khalil Gibran. Taking his early love for storytelling to the next level, Sufian started writing short stories, expanding his natural talent and inclination through writing classes by David Farland, New York Times bestselling author of the popular Runelords series.
