S.L. Kowalski currently lives in sunny Detroit with a witch and her cat. He's worked far too many years as an HVAC technician and is looking forward to moving out of the red truck and on to a green tractor.

Mr. Kowalski recently published his first novel, based on the end of his own innocence, "A Way Back Home," a gripping tale of incest and abuse in middle-class, middle-America. While it's not what he originally intended as his first publication, he knows few things work out as originally intended.

So he tries not to hold on to outcomes or forget to feed the cat.

Love is what it is

Read it any way you want. Pause where you may. Emphasize what you will. Read it backwards, although it sounds like a Jeopardy answer - which is beautiful because Jeopardy answers are simply questions asking us what we already know. Odd name for such a safe show: Jeopardy.
