Shreya Gupta is a designer and illustrator living in New York City. She is originally from India where she worked as a software engineer at a major IT company. After nearly three years, she realized that she needed to follow her passion, so she moved to the United States to attend the School of Visual Arts.

Shreya is currently a designer at Hachette Book Group, and has worked for major publications and companies such as the New York Times, Google, Penguin Random House, Macmillan, Fast Company, and Vox among many others. She has won a Gold Award from the Society of Illustrators LA, and her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, the Society of Illustrators NY, American Illustration and 3x3.
