In 1969 I completed a degree in 3 dimensional design at Leeds College of Art. In the following year I did a one year post-graduate course at Bristol University in Radio, Film and Television Production and obtained a Distinction grade. As part of the course I wrote and made a short animated film called, "Come into my Parlour," that was exhibited at the 1970 Paris Biennale and the Edinburgh Film Festival.

I started my career in art as an animator in 1970 with a company called Halas & Batchelor. The first major series I animated on was, “The Jackson 5ive.”

Over the past 40 years I have worked as a key animator on many TV commercials and series, including, “Superted,” “The Beatrix Potter collection,” “The Animals of Farthing Wood,” “The Forgotte ...more
