Hi everyone! I'm Sara Boyd. I was born in Argentina and some years ago I left sunny Buenos Aires and moved to Newcastle, where I did a translation MA at Newcastle University.
I started writing stories out of boredom at school but published my first novel, 'Nothing Else Matters' only recently. My first fully finished story was a screenplay that got lost, so I became backup-obsessed. The lost screenplay is now being re-developed into a novel.
I live with my family under the blistering Northumberland sun and we adopted a cat that bites.

Out now: Deceptive Comfort, a historical thriller short story exploring the devastating impact of superstition.
