Monsignor John R. Cihak is a priest of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon currently working in the Vatican. He teaches a seminar at the Pontifical Gregorian University and is a chaplain and confessor for the Missionaries of Charity in Rome. Monsignor Cihak studied philosophy at the University of Notre Dame and earned his Licentiate and Doctorate in Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He has served as a pastor in western Oregon and as a professor and formator at Mount Angel Seminary.
