I am a writer, dreamer, reader, runner, knitter, mom, a cancer survivor, and a coffee addict. I collect extra children as both a hobby and a career, and have anywhere from three to eleven attempting to take over my house at any given moment. My husband and I live near the mountains of Colorado with our horde of children and our two dogs.

Chapter Eight is Up!

The eighth chapter of my current Web Comic, Chosen Ones Anonymous, was just posted. You can read it, or binge the series so-far here.

I intend to give each “episode” ten chapters, this current episode is “Amid the Roar.” This is, of course, my structure plan going in and might be tweaked here and there as the story requires.

Come join alone on the adventure! Things are just starting to amp up.

This was a fun time, but didn't really do much, even though a few possible interesting thematic elements were presented. I was really hoping for a "actually *she's* the beast!" but this just wasn't that nuanced. It was cute, it had some nice characte ...more

This was an interesting read. I found the scope appropriate for the story but also not one I hugely enjoy...yet I still ended up really enjoying it. It was more about society than any individual characters. Really action-heavy but I didn't mind it.  ...more

A sweet collection of stories. There is a lot less general "excitement" in Josefina's stories than some of the other American Girls, which is kind of a nice change. There is a lot more dealing with grief and a cozy culture appreciation to
