Barbara Lapajne Predin lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has worked as an actress for fifteen years, performing in the theatre and appearing in several features, television films and serials. As a theatre and film actress she has received several awards.

In 1993 she founded her theatre group Levi breg, staging some of the first private theatre productions in Slovenia. The group would acquire funds from donors and sponsors, and Barbara has gradually become a theatre and music producer.

In 2007 she defended her Master's thesis entitled Agencija - alternativni regulator zaposlovanja igralcev [Acting Agency - the Alternative Regulator of Actors' Employment] at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana.
