“Iniquity is either the positive attitude toward a particular sin or a negative attitude toward doing right.  In other words, someone might say that they don’t commit a particular sin but that they don’t see a problem with it or that they understand why someone would.  This positive attitude toward that sin is setting a course; it is the iniquity that leads down that road.  No one will commit a sin until they first have a positive attitude about it.  On the other hand, someone might be doing something right in an area but have a bad attitude about doing it.”
