“The world was a terrible place, cruel, pitiless, dark as a bad dream. Not a good place to live. Only in books could you find pity, comfort, happiness - and love. Books loved anyone who opened them, they gave you security and friendship and didn't ask anything in return; they never went away, never, not even when you treated them badly.”

You put this in the wrong spot. Do not write it on my profile. Put it in the group discussion of this book on my group page: Ms. Madsen's class. Copy and paste it in the correct location.

Anthony Acosta The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan The book is really good so far. It makes me thrive for what is coming next like some gossip."What? She kissed who?" There are some parts I had to read over and over because I didn't understand it so this book would be a three but Rick Riordan is my favorite author so I'll give it a 4. Tell me what some other people thought.
