Tracy is a Foreign Service Officer who has served in Africa, North America, and Latin America. Prior to becoming a diplomat, she worked as a budget analyst with the Defense Information Systems Agency. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Russian and International Studies, and Master's Degree in Public and International Affairs, and a (sadly) unfinished doctorate in Education. She and her husband, Eric Whittington, collaborate on screenplays, children's books, and blogs. Their first screenplay, The Feast, was the winner of the 2012 Gimme Credit Screenplay Competition.
