Music has always been central to Sebastian Robertson’s life. As a teenager and into his twenties, Sebastian played in several bands gigging on the U.S. west coast. He played on the soundtrack for the film Jimmy Hollywood and the album Music for the Native Americans as a session drummer. Compelled to compose, he hung up the drumsticks in favor of the guitar and piano. For over a decade he has maintained a prolific career composing and placing over three thousand pieces of music in television and film. He also served as the musical director and music supervisor on the acclaimed documentary series Playing for Change. Sebastian is currently writing a number of children’s books and is developing a cable television series.
