Michelle Briscombe was born in Cardiff and now lives in Barry, South Wales with her husband and two children.
Silent Mountain, The Adventures of Jack Jupiter, published by Candy Jar Books, was her first children's book and used by the Books Council for Wales in its Children's Bookslam Competition.
Released in April 2016, The House on March Lane, was her second children's book.
The Ghosts of Craig Glas Castle, released in 2023, was short-listed for the Books Council for Wales, Tir na-nOg Award and used in the Books Council for Wales Bookslam Competition.
