I received a BFA in mixed media studio art. With a degree in the arts and no solid plan, I’ve had the opportunity to hold many different jobs; video store manager, barista, photographer’s assistant, toy store clerk, and yoga instructor at a retreat in Puerto Rico are just a few. Hands on research for my books.  

Currently, when I’m not writing, you can find me working at a title one elementary school library, crafting with my little girl, or hosting the podcast, So I Wrote a Book…Now What, where I interview fellow authors about their revision process. I write romances under the name NC Barton.
