Phylline Phillips is an accountant by profession. Before moving to Sydney, she was an advocate of antiviolence against women in her home country. Through her efforts, she inspired and empowered women through her defunct e-magazine that caters mostly to victims of domestic violence. Back in her home country, she had been featured in local television, magazines and broadsheets for her work for battered women. Likewise, she was a regular radio resource guest for topics relating to her advocacy. Apart from her service to women, she was a servant leader in her church for over 10 years. During that time, she had a regular column in the community newsletter where most of the articles in this book were first published.
