Alexandra McBrayer began writing when she was seven years old and hasn't stopped since. In her former life she worked as a photographer, a lingerie designer, and a small business owner. She gave it all up to go back to University to study Egyptology.

Alex now spends her time traveling, writing and studying other cultures, concentrating on women's issues around the world.

Writing about the issues that modern women face is what Alex is passionate about. In love with romance books since she was a child, she's driven by her passion to write romance in a contemporary way, making sure that even faced with impossible, sometimes magical situations, her characters are strong, powerful women, in charge of their own sexuality and destinies.
