I will explain why after we look at the original inspirations. In Act 4, Scene 5 of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Ophelia is essentially giving farewel Read more of this blog post »

"I was intrigued by the idea of this collection and enjoyed that there was both "letters" and poetry throughout, but overall this fell flat for me. I can tell the author put a lot of themselves into this but the messages felt surface level overall."

“That dark fog you see now,
Will later give a bow,
To a glorious sun.”

“Slings And Arrows

There is only so much blood mortals can lose,
Before they grow weary of body and soul.
Life is unfair and unbearable at times.
To go on living is not only a worthy battle
But it is also a battle you can win.

Look to the left and to the right of you.
Do you see people beside you?
If so, get their back,
And they’ll get your back.
Do you not see someone beside you?
Then keep fighting and press on.
You will eventually find someone,
Who can either help you
Or may really need your help.

Don’t leave your head unguarded.
You mustn’t make dark thoughts take hold.
Don’t leave your heart unguarded.
Good emotions and motives will make bold.

In a sea of troubles,
Rely on your friendship.
It will keep you afloat amid the tempest.

Choose to be.
Choose to see (tomorrow).”
