Hi David,Lovely to hear from you. Firstly just to say that I don't live in Bournemouth but in London. I have corrected my profile.
I found your book on Amazon originally. It was offered as a suggestion when I was looking for a book to read, it looked interesting so I bought it.
I enjoyed it so much that at school I recommended it to students who read similar types of books, once a few have read and enjoyed it you find that their friends want to read it and it snowballs from there. I have just bought the second book.
Regards
Jan

Thanks for the kind comments. It's always lovely to hear from people who've read my books.
Re the cover...I've had decidedly mixed feedback about it. The Kindle version cover is much better and, hopefully, might replace the paperback one if there's ever a second edition.
As for a third book, sales of the second have been slow to date and other writing work is currently eating up all my time. If sales pick up, then I plan to complete the series. As you know, the second ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, so I would hate to leave it there.
All authors rely on reviews and other endorsements such as word of mouth recommendations to build an audience, so feel free to promote the books for me! Seriously though, any help from anyone who has read and enjoyed the books will increase the chances of another one getting written.
Finally, a quick question. You're in Bournemouth according to your profile. How did you stumble across the books in the first place? There are so many books out there these days that it's very hard for new authors like me to get their work noticed. I'd be very interested to hear how you found them.
Thanks again for reading the books and taking the time to contact me.
All the best,
David

Hi Jan,
Such a fine line between Bournemouth and London...
Good to hear Amazon recommendations work. I hope you enjoy the second book - please let me know what you think as all feedback, positive or negative, is welcomed by me.
Thanks,
David
