John M. Adams was raised in the Chicago area and received degrees in English Lit. and Library Science from the University of Illinois. He served as director of the Moline (IL), Tampa (FL) and Orange County (CA) public libraries. He served on the Board of Governors of the American Research Center in Egypt and is a regular contributor to Kmt: A Modern Journal of Ancient Egypt. He lives with his wife and their dogs on a farm in central Illinois. THE MILLIONAIRE AND THE MUMMIES is his first book.
