Heather Lawson is a 29 year old bookseller and novelist, currently living Fife, Scotland. Since the age of 7, Heather has enjoyed crafting worlds and characters to create new stories, but it wasn’t until 2007 that she completed her first, full-length novel with a little help from National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo). In 2012, Heather’s novel That’s Charming was shortlisted for the Hot Key Books/Guardian Young Writer’s Prize.

When she’s not writing, Heather is most likely to be found parked in front of a TV, playing videos games, or sketching. She also has a BA in English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from the Open University.

Editing and How it’s Going Nowhere

I juggle a lot of things in my day to day life – my part time job, my Open University study, my writing, my editing, my freelancing… it’s a wonder I have any free time at all really! And yet, I always seem to find time to procrastinate for several hours a day and end up doing nothing productive (unless you count watching multiple episodes of Criminal Minds productive).

Hey, thanks for the add. I was just looking around on your page and saw your website it is very cute! I too have a website for my novels but it is no where near done nor is my novels lol But, hopefully soon I will be done. But, I was going to say have you ever heard of the kindle boards? They can help a lot with selling and helping people get more readers. I plan on selling my novels online because self-publishing is much faster. And the kindle boards help with tips and such. Anyways... I am rambling on here. I can post the link to them if you wanted.
