LOVE LIES BLEEDING

Dear friend, when I left, I knew I would return. I trusted time to heal this bloody gash in our friendship. So I stayed away and I counted the clouds. I counted the planks in the fence, waiting for the opportunity to get back to you. Now I am come. A moment too late. There was a time I told you, or you told me that we should be friends forever. I concurred or you did. The details are blurred with Read more of this blog post »

Aaah, so you have connections with the underworld of book dealing. :p I bet it does.
Oh totally, I agree. Although I don't like deriving meanings from them in a premonition-y way, that freaks me out. For me, they usually just reflect my life or my thoughts or most often the books that I read.
Did you know that people with active imaginations and who read a lot are more prone to deja vu because the stories that we read are sometimes stored as real memories. Cool right? Explains so many of my random deja vu's.
Hmm, maybe I'll give it another shot then.
I'll definitely check all those out, thanks.

Hahaha. I am not a book drug dealer! I just know people who know people who know things. Comes in handy.
I believe dreams always have connotations of reality. or should I say some sort of reality. Like your dream.
I call mine action dreams. When I dream, it's no different from reading a fantasy novel. Just that this time I am in the thick of things, if you know what I mean.
I am surprised you didn't jump into the Host. I did. I didn't realise I was holding my breath until I was done. Loved it. Dystopian. Iron Butterfly is a personal favourite of mine. There is the Iron Fey series too. Loved the authors style

I'd love to tell them if I remembered them for more than five minutes. I am always just left with a vague recollection that I later sometimes mistake for reality. Haha. This morning I woke up with an image of riding a dirt bike to a trucker hotel and meeting up with three guys, one of them bawled like a baby for reasons that escape me, one escaped that I chased and don't remember the third. Then it changed completely and I was surrounded by oompa loompas.
See what I mean?
I started the host a while back but just could not get invested which is weird for me because I can usually read anything. Just saw the trailer for the movie though and it seems interesting. I am just not sure if I should read the book and then have the movie ruin it for me or read it and have the movie ruined then.
Problems problems. Sigh.
I'll check out iron butterfly though.

Being cabbage, I get that SO well.
I am a carot.
I usually can't even find my cup, let alone use it. What was the dream/story about? My dreams are really wacked. It's like alice in wonderland meets silence of the lamb in willy wonka's factory. Wacked, I tell you. Albeit very very entertaining, in a totally freaky way.

I used to write poetry before I became a cabbage. Seems I used up my my magic cup of inspiration :)I wrote a story that plagues me in my dreams for years, got to 40,000 words and gave up lol. Was not ready to write that story just yet. These days I wake up and 2 minutes later it's night time and i have to dream again. never get any literal juices flowing :(

I know right. Although I like the plot I am working on. At the root of it, all young adult novels are basically the same. Original characters and dialogue set them apart.
Haha. Swapping. Very very tempting. I am somewhat of a chicken when it comes to that. I keep waiting to write something that I'll actually like the next day, yannoo? You write poetry too?
Really? I am intrigued now. Do tell

Sydney Mugerwa hahahah. Yeah, Who isn't working on a story! Would love to read your poetry. Want to swap?
I have read stuff as good as Harry Potter, believe it or not, just that it wasn't as famous. Give it a try, you should. I love goodreads for helping me find those books I would otherwise never have read.

Um, I do like fantasy but nothing has come up to par after Harry Potter for me so I just don't read much of fantasy and magic anymore. Read too much of it growing up until found Harry Potter.
