Horea Sibișteanu was born on January 6, 1987 in Bacău.

He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Enginerring and Building Services "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University in Iasi in 2010 and a master's degree in Seismic Engineering at Waseda University in Tokyo in 2013.

He participated in Creative Writing Sundays, creative writing sessions organized by Revista de Povestiri, his texts appeared in the publications Subcapitol, Revista de Povestiri, Ateneu, Iocan, Steaua, Echinox, Vitraliu, in the collective volume "Scrisori din Cipangu. Povesti Japoneze scrise de autori romani" (Editura Trei, 2016) and in the anthology "Plastic in carne", coordinated by Adrian Schiop (Triumf Amiria, 2022). Când frica acaparează rațiunea

 Aflii că niște prieteni foarte apropiați sunt COVID pozitiv.Te sperii si mai tare. În ultima vreme ai tot auzit de persoane apropiate, detectate pozitiv, dar nimeni din cercul tau apropiat. Ar fi trebuit sa fi plecat împreună la drum, dar nu mai plecați.

A doua zi de de dimineață te trezești cu o usturime în gât. Îmi aduci aminte că ai băut apă rece din frigider fără să o îndoi cu aia la temperatu
