A graduate of the Detroit School of Arts, Monica R. Sholar is best known for her work as storyteller and indie author. Her breakout novel, The 24th Letter, followed by 2015's Esoteric Truth, holds a high review rating on Amazon & Goodreads in her Michigan-based Suspense-Thriller series, Belle Isle Heights. Sholar graced the cover of BLAC Magazine in the October 2015 issue for her feature as a storyteller in Detroit. In 2016, Sholar released her first work of non-fiction: Please Pardon My Dust: I'm Under Construction, a motivational book that shares personal and professional success stories of Michigan women from all backgrounds.
