Every since she was a child, Maggie Foxhole dreamed of traveling the world and living in new countries. As an adult, she was able to carry out her aspiration. But it wasn't until she and her family moved to São Paulo that she learned being an expatriate was as much as an exciting adventure as she had imagined, but also not the fantasy life she had assumed. Through her experience in the city and travels throughout South America, she shares both the wonderful and curious aspects of life in Brazil.
