Alexandra Meckl graduated in Journalism in 2010 and Computer Science in 2012. She later obtained a master’s degree in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures from the University of Vienna in 2023, completing it with a thesis dedicated to the theme of animal exploitation in contemporary Anglophone science fiction.

Her prose has appeared in the magazines Familia, Matca Literară, Nesemnate, Clivaj, Lumi Posibile, P(RO)EZIA, Planeta Babel, EgoPHobia, Revista de Povestiri, Liternautica, Opt Motive, Revista Strîmbă, Revista Golan, and Literomania.

She gave up programming in order to dedicate herself to writing. Over time, she has taken part in various creative writing workshops, where she had the opportunity to develop her literary voice alongside Roma ...more
