Marlene G. Fine, Ph.D. is Professor Emerita at Simmons University, Boston, MA. Professor Fine specializes in issues of gender, race, and culture. Her most recent book (co-authored with Fern L. Johnson) is the forthcoming Let's Talk Race: A Guide for White People (New Society Publishers, 2021). Professors Fine and Johnson also co-authored The Interracial Adoption Option: Creating a Family Across Race (JKP, 2013), which is based on their experiences as the adoptive mothers of two African American sons. Fine also wrote Building Successful Multicultural Organizations: Challenges and Opportunities (Quorum Books, 1995).
