Michael Wuitchik is a Canadian novelist who lives with in North Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife Shelley.He was born in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island and grew up in Richmond, B.C.

Michael's first career was as a psychologist and to this end he obtained degrees at the University of British Columbia, the University of Guelph, and the University of Calgary. He specialized in multidisciplinary treatment of chronic pain and was a founder of the Canmore and Vancouver Pain Clinics.

Michael has always been a writer. He wrote scientific articles on the psychology of childbirth in the late 1980's and, while working as a psychologist, wrote newspaper feature articles on topics ranging from Russian doctors to Vietnamese guerrilla fighters. Passi ...more
