Tom is a Developmentalist and Prevention Educator who was a Mental Health Administrator, Private Practitioner, and a College Counselor over the span of thirty years. He received his B.S. in Political Science and English from Saginaw Valley State and his Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. He currently consults and teaches courses on Adolescent and Young Adult Development at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is known for his unique developmental model for adolescents and young adults as they meet the challenges of learning to establish meaningful relationships.
