Dr. Rafat Amari was born in Jordan in 1943. He comes from an Arab Greek Orthodox background. Dr. Amari met the Lord as his personal Savior in 1964 while reading the New Testament in Arabic and while studying medicine in the city of Padua, Italy.
Dr. Amari felt the calling to begin ministering within the body of Christ. Consequently, he began preaching in various churches in Jordan. He also traveled to different countries, especially in the Muslim world. He conducted prayer conferences throughout different regions where he trained coordinators on how to set up prayer and evangelistic home meetings in order to evangelize Muslims.
After twenty- five years of in-depth research, Dr. Amari obtained an immense and scholarly knowledge of Islam. Dr. ADr. Rafat Amari was born in Jordan in 1943. After twenty- five years of in-depth research, Dr. Amari obtained an immense and scholarly knowledge of Islam. Dr. Amari learned about the religions of the East at the time of Mohammed, while revealing exact origins of the Quranic verses.
Approximately 10 years ago, Dr. Amari founded the Religion Research Institute to refute the claims of Islam and help Muslims understand the roots of Islam in order help the serious seeker to make intelligent choices about religion.
Dr. Amari is a weekly guest on Religion and History, a popular program aired by the Christian TV satellite channel, Al Hayat. It explores the historical mistakes of the Qur’an. Additionally thousands in the Middle East as well as other countries view this widely respected show. At the end of Religion and History, Dr. Amari dedicates five minutes to explain a prophecy about Christ in the Old Testament and its fulfillment in the New Testament.
In 2011, Dr. Amari launched a new TV program “Facts” which is aired live weekly at the Al Hayat Channel. The program focuses on the sources of Quran from different religions.
