Stephen’s Quotes

“The Lord has no body now on earth but yours, no hands now but yours, no feet now but yours. Yours are the eyes through which His compassion looks out to the world. Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good. Yours are the hands with which he is to bless His people.”
― Teresa of Ávila

I think one of the best books to read for now is:
Flight in the Winter" by Juergen Thorwald. History never repeats - but it rhymes. Russia 1944 and the retreat of the German Armies. Copyright 1951 by Pantheon Books INC. Now out of print but is sometimes found on Amazon at a hefty price.
It is one of those books - one will keep always - just in case!
