My name is Jack Hart . I grew up in a small community way up North tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan aka : “God’s Country” . In many ways , it was a life waiting for it to be written about . I have such fond memories that come to life each time I revisit the area which doesn‘t seem to happen enough. On the occasions when I took my children up there to visit friends and family , we would go and see the places or people that meant something to me. It seemed as though no matter where the meridians lay, there was a memory that was velcroed to it and with that memory , a story to be told. I would like to get some feedback regarding a book that I wrote and was published , January 2013. It tells of "Small Places In A Big World/ Big Worlds In Small places" true short stories that focus in on the peculiar colloquialisms of a Yooper, humorous vignettes, blended with nostalgia, sentiment, and poignancy .
