Jason Sway was born and raised in rural Arkansas where he grew up an attention seeker in the shadow of his older brother. Sway was first published at the age of twelve in a book of poetry and he later developed a love for creative writing due to an inspirational high school English teacher. A tortured soul—as any true artist should be—Jason has fought battles with depression and dependency. This culminated with an overdose and near death experience at the age of nineteen. Sway moved to Los Angeles at the age of twenty-two, where he is still seeking—and finding—attention.
