I live on a farm in a section of Vermont called the Northeast Kingdom. I feel fortunate to call this beautiful region of the Green Mountain State my home. For me, this is heaven on earth — lots of room to hike with my golden retriever, deer and other critters roaming the property, a river meandering through the meadow with its big brookies and rainbow trout — all encased with incredible scenery and fresh air. This is a place to be creative, a place to inspire my interest in nature and animals, both domestic and wild, and my love of writing poetry. The animals in my life — dogs, barn cats and horses — have inspired many of my stories and poems. I have had horses at various times living at my farm.
