A native Nevadan, Brooke was a wife and mother who became a deputy sheriff. Her novel is a fictional account of her time in the academy and working in a jail.

Brooke also worked as the Public Information Officer for Department of Corrections. She walked OJ Simpson out of prison in 2017, and promptly retired from the state.

This is truly a book nobody else could write, based on her knowledge of the police world and desire to empower others to take a chance.

Birthing vs Publishing - It's almost the same thing.

I've been pregnant twice and will never forget the feelings that tumbled around in my head. As my stomach grew so did the anticipation, nervousness, excitement, overwhelming love, and self doubt.
