Nicole’s Recent Updates
"4.5⭐️ I enjoyed this sequel to The Clinch. It isn't necessary to read it first but it helps set the scene for the martial arts/MMA theme of both books. The Clinch is Eden Bauer's story and in the new book - Tapout, she's the mentor and coach of Laila"

Hi, Cari. That's great news. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the book. The direct link is (in case you're having trouble finding it):
http://www.jms-books.com/index.php?ma...
Goodreads seems to be having issues connecting that link to my cover image at the moment. I imagine it will be easier when I'm on Amazon and Barnes and Noble next week.
Glad to be in the group with you!
Nicole

I haven't read Paradise Lost. I enjoyed Divine Comedy more than it seems you did, but I'm still interested to see if I end up agreeing with you about Paradise Lost being better.
Sorry on the late response, by the way. I'm not sure how, but I missed this comment.
Nicole

Have you read Milton's 'Paradise Lost'? His work is better. Easier to read, better prose poetry and more warmth. In fact, one can't help but feel a certain sympathy not only for Adam and Eve, but for the Devil as well!
'Paradise Lost' left me feeling something by the end (even though I knew the 'ending' already. Who doesn't?).
But with Alighieri's Divine Comedy, I felt nothing, as if it were some sterile dogma; an accomplished metaphysical dissertation intended for an unquestioning, unfeeling audience. Perhaps that's harsh, but I do feel Milton's was better.
Thanks for friending me. I’m celebrating my book award with a free download of No Photo Available today through midnight August 9. Please get your copy today and pass this message along to your friends. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you, every little bit counts. Thanks much.
