Ending

We're approaching the End of Days, a time when there are more writers than readers, more filmmakers than viewers, more musicians than listeners. There's nothing that can be done about it - you can't put the genie back in the bottle - but there isn't, or soon won't be, anything particularly special or distinguished about the so-called creative process.

Ed Catmull
“In many ways, the work of a critic is easy,” Ego says. “We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends.”

Just put my first (maybe my last, we'll see how it goes) novel up on Amazon as an ebook. It's called DANCER'S RAIN.

Kaz Drysdale Hi Doug. What are you writing currently or what genre are you thinking about?

Me? Glad you asked... working on an action thriller - ROGAN'S WAR. Think we have enough action but now trying to inject some more thrills... lol.

Cheers, Kaz
