J.R. Marshall was born in South Buckinghamshire, England in 1966. Over the years since, apart from attending the obligatory educational facility until old enough to leave, he had studied computer programming, commerce, business studies as well as accountancy (to a reasonable level), and is an ongoing student from the University of life. At an early age he was bitten by the literary bug and as a result he wrote two weekly columns for a local newspaper (with the occasional ad hoc story when the opportunity presented itself). He has attended a number of writing courses which have included a variety of styles; these have included writing for radio, stage, screen, children’s books etc. He was "bitten" by the horror bug when given a copy of JamesJ.R. Although liking the genre he prefers the classic horror films including Hammer films. He’s married to a lady from Seattle, WA, USA and has three children, one step-son and a grandson. J.R. has also been an internet DJ since 2004 and can be heard playing his eclectic collection, most of which is to his wife’s disdain (pre-70’s is not her choice). J.R. is currently working on his second novel with a number of ideas for further novels festering away in the darkened recesses of his mind, so watch this space. ...more
