She grew up in a large family, and she and her husband have five adult children and two grandchildren. With many marathons and triathlons under her belt, she now finds renewal on long walks along Lake Michigan in Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

I just loved it until the last 200 pages when it got long and convoluted. I told many people about this book before I finished it. I loved the characters of Meg and Birdie.
