Greg Bowdish grew up in Atlanta, Georgia reading Lost and Beat Generation literature and dreaming that, after experiencing a healthy dose of life, he would one day be a novelist.

In the mid 1980's he attended University of Georgia where, between literature classes, wild house parties and music clubs, he began to find a writing voice and started his first (yet still unfinished) novel. Bands like Pylon, R.E.M., The Method Actors, and The B52s provided the soundtrack to that place he most considers his hometown—Athens, Ga.

In the late 1990s he moved to Florida and within a few years had become a well-known fly angler and kayaker, appearing at outdoor shows and getting a lot of recognition as an outdoor writer. In 2002, he started Love's Naked ...more
