Aderyn y Mor has been writing poetry since 2010 when she discovered her latent talent for verse. Her inspiration comes from the colours of nature especially the sea and the ever changing shore, and also from the places she has visited and the interesting people she has met. The latter mainly in the cafés that are her frequent haunt. Her name, Aderyn y Mor means Bird of the Sea and she feels she is following in the footsteps of her Great Uncle Jack (Mr John Thomas) who was a chaired bard in an Eisteddfod held in Rhydyfro (Wales) in 1930.
