I stay in Bathgate Scotland.

I write: True Crime, Thrillers, Romance, Children’s Stories.

True Crime? Because of my early background.

Romance? Because, I have always respected, and been a lover of ladies and life in general.

Children’s stories? Because I was gifted at the age of 45 the most beautiful child ever created and I helped to create her.

I started writing when I became friendly with a well known Scottish writer. Nigel Tranter, who reviewed and edited my first effort (With Fate Conspire)

His comment was “Bill You may never be a top writer, but you will be one hell of a story teller.” So that started me off and from then I have simply wanted to in some way perhaps influence others by telling my life story as it was.

First day at School. Dear Teacher
