Alan Cody is a Montreal-based author, lifelong geek-culture fan, and vinyl collector.

His debut novel, The Emerald Project: Book 1: Quest for the Ruby Shoes, returns readers to the world of Oz twenty-five years after Dorothy's original adventure, introducing a new generation of heroes including the teenage children of the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion.

The Emerald Project grew from an idea Alan carried around for more than twenty years before finally deciding it was time to write the book.

When he's not writing, Alan owns and operates Geek & Co., a hobby and collectibles store in Montreal, Canada.
