Allen Hively has published multiple fiction novels and written for various sports magazines. He is an avid sailor, competitive skydiver and lifetime student of history.

His first book, The Portal is a soft science fiction novel with time travel, adventure and treasure.

The Savant, his second novel, is a fictional drama about a teenage musical savant and his struggles as he breaks into the music industry.
