I never expected to write a book.

My husband and I figured out how to spend a year living in Italy as just ordinary people. We thought we would get fluent. Well, that didn't happen, but so much of our world view, our appreciation for America as well as Italy, even our life together morphed in that year that we had to share the story.

I enjoy well-written, meaty books, both fiction and non-fiction. Reading has helped me become a better writer. And writing has certainly helped me be a more discriminating reader. ...more

Glad to connect as friends as well as in the group. You'll see I love reading and many of my books are about Italy.
