Steve Jones Snr was born in England in 1955. He left school at age 16 to become an engineering apprentice. The pursuit of his chosen profession led him to become a consultant to the packaging industry, and in this capacity he has travelled the world.
From Scandinavia to Australia, and from Los Angeles to Siberia, working in diverse cultures and learning their ways. During a two year period in Eastern Europe, he ran out of books to read, so he decided to write a book of his own.
The inspiration for the “The Waking of Carag Cri’eth” the first volume of The Thoughts of Mountains series began with a view of the mountains of Slovakia, seen through the window of a hotel restaurant.

I've been away from writing for quite a while as I have had other priorities that severely limited the time I could spend writing/promoting.
I have decided to get back to the writing this year, but to take a different approach regarding publishing.
