Nickname Aji, born in the year of 1983, in Semarang. At 14 years old, Aji continue his studies at King Khalid Islamic College of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, finishing his Bachelor for History, with predicate first classs honours.

Then, Aji completed magistrate programme of Historical Knowlege at National University of Singapore (NUS) and now going through his Doctorate in History and Anthropology in University of Michigan, Ann Arbos, US.

In the past, Aji had worked as IDRF fellow from Social Science REsearch Council (SSRC), as well as a visiting fellow at Center for the Study of Global Civil Society (PACIVIS), University of Indonesia.
